Angi is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing finance team. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will be instrumental in driving financial performance and supporting strategic initiatives across the company through mastery of fixed costs. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with business leaders to analyze financial data, build models, and provide actionable insights that help steer key decisions at Angi. This is a high-impact role that requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business operations in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.


What this role involves:

  • P&L Management: Own and manage all aspects of the Profit & Loss (P&L) for specific business lines or departments.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development and execution of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Provide financial analysis and insights across various business units.
  • Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, comparing actual results to forecasts and budgets.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Assist in long-term strategic planning by developing financial models.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
  • Investment Analysis: Evaluate business opportunities, capital investments, and expansion plans.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with business leaders to provide financial support.
  • KPI Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and drive financial and operational performance.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in FP&A.
  • Experience in-house at a tech company, combined with investment banking, private equity, consulting, or experience with analytics is ideal.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, financial modeling and problem-solving.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and projections.
