Senior Cloud Engineer, Cloud Foundation

Job Description

Teads Outbrain Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their Cloud Foundation team in Montpellier. The successful candidate will help build and strengthen the company's usage of public clouds (AWS, Azure) and on-premise data centers, forging these into a unified platform. The role involves improving the availability, scalability, and efficiency of products, with a focus on security and cost-effectiveness. The candidate will collaborate with fellow engineers, learn new skills, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Building and running workloads in public clouds (AWS, Azure).
• Contributing to improving the availability, scalability and efficiency of our products.
• Using IaC technologies, like Terraform.

Requirements:

• BS in Software Engineering (or extensive experience equivalent to).
• Good programming abilities.
• Extensive experience building and running workloads in public clouds (AWS, Azure, or both)
• Strong working knowledge of and experience in IaC technologies, like Terraform.
• Strong commitment to quality designs, automation, and documentation.
• Pride in ownership, initiative and collaboration.
• Eager to learn, discover and become proficient in new tools and languages.
• Effective communicator; you love to solve problems and are creative in your work.
• You embrace change and are enthusiastic to learn in order to bring projects to proper completion.
