Job Description
Gong is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining its cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will join a highly technological team and collaborate with stakeholders across R&D, Security, and Product teams to automate processes, streamline operations, and drive impactful changes in the company's cloud strategy.

The role involves:
  • Leading the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
  • Automating and streamlining operations and processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborating with R&D, Security, and Product teams for seamless integration of DevOps practices.
  • Shaping the company’s cloud strategy with a focus on innovation.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with extensive cloud computing experience, preferably AWS.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills, ideally using Python and bash.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
  • Hands-on experience with GitOps and CI/CD methodologies and tools like ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
  • Proven experience working with Kubernetes (K8s) in production environments.
  • Deep proficiency in Linux environments, including RHEL and Debian-based distributions.
  • Solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals, REST architecture, and cloud security concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to execute projects from design to implementation.
