Job Description

Capgemini Invent is seeking a (Senior) Director (m/f/d) for Digital Euro in the Public Tax & Finance sector. This role involves advising clients on the strategic conception and implementation of large digitization projects, particularly in the context of the Digital Euro. The candidate will support business development by acquiring new clients, developing the strategic consulting portfolio, and creating business cases.

The role involves:

• Shaping use cases and approaches for the implementation of the Digital Euro in central banks and affiliated public institutions.
• Developing long-term competencies in the area of the Digital Euro.
• Creating offers and service offerings for the management of clients.
• Winning, developing, and retaining best-in-class talent to expand the team and area of responsibility.

Requirements include:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy/management consulting and financial administration or (central) banks.
• Technical knowledge of the public sector, financial administration, and central banking, as well as technologies such as blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
• A strong go-to-market DNA with an established network of partnerships at the C-level.
• Dynamic leadership with a strong growth focus, entrepreneurial thinking, and charismatic role model behavior.
• Excellent degree in law and economics, ideally with a supplementary MBA or doctorate, and excellent German and English skills.
