Job Description

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking an SVP, Loans to lead and scale its lending business in Nigeria. This role involves full ownership of the business strategy and execution, driving growth and innovation across lending operations. The SVP will lead a cross-functional team spanning sales, product, engineering, credit risk, credit analytics, and loan operations. They will be responsible for guiding the 2–3x growth of the lending business, ensuring portfolio health while accelerating market leadership. Responsibilities:

• Prioritizing product strategy and execution.
• Understanding how products, processes, and teams interact.
• Applying first principles to make sound decisions.
• Driving sales, distribution, customer success, and market penetration.

Requirements:

• Proven leadership of a lending business at scale (₦50B+ portfolio ideally).
• Deep experience in product development and innovation.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership and commercial decision-making.
• Strong cross-functional leadership.
• Data-driven mindset.
• Hands-on leadership style.
