Job Description
Moniepoint, a fast-growing financial services platform in Africa, is seeking a Field Credit Officer for Bayelsa State. This role involves onboarding and managing businesses for credit products, growing the loan portfolio, and ensuring timely loan repayments. The Field Credit Officer will assess businesses during credit applications, monitor their performance, and make recommendations to management.
  • Onboard viable businesses for Moniepoint accounts.
  • Engage customers to encourage account usage for credit qualification.
  • Review and approve or decline loan requests.
  • Visit potential borrowers' businesses for evaluation.
  • Meet loan portfolio and profit targets.
  • Monitor active loan portfolio and repayment performance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of OND in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with credit products in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of credit risk analysis.
  • Good knowledge of financial analysis (advantage).
  • Must be a resident of Bayelsa.
  • Attention to detail.
