Backend Engineer

Job Description

A Backend Engineer is needed to join the Digital Sales value stream within the R&D department at a company that is not named in the job description. The engineer will focus on creating innovative, efficient, and adaptive solutions for financial institutions. The role involves building the customer experience path for exploring banking products and managing banking products.Responsibilities include:

• Contributing to new and existing functionalities.
• Participating in proof of concepts and technical improvements.
• Taking ownership of software development life cycle.
• Collaborating with architects and QA engineers.
• Engaging in technical workshops and documentation.

Requirements include:

• Living in or near Kraków and willing to work in a hybrid manner (2 days/week in office).
• Solid background in software development and design.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Maven, CI, and CD.
• Experience with microservices.
• Knowledge of cloud and traditional application servers.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Experience with frontend development (Angular preferred).
