Senior Engineering Manager, Postman Insights

Job Description

Postman is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and scale a fast-paced engineering team focused on the Insights platform. This role involves leading a hybrid team of engineers, owning the roadmap for product improvements, and driving the technical vision for a backend-intensive product that processes streaming time-series data. The Engineering Manager will also be responsible for growing the engineering team, including hiring managers.Responsibilities:

• Lead a hybrid team of high-performing engineers.
• Own roadmap and process to rapidly deliver product improvements.
• Drive technical vision for product engineering and infrastructure/platform.
• Grow the engineering team.

Requirements:

• Track record of managing teams that deliver.
• Portfolio of projects launched.
• Experience managing engineering for a user-facing product with a substantial backend component.
• Comfort with owning pre-launch and ops standards.
• Experience managing a hybrid team distributed across time zones.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and able to come to the office 3x per week.
