Job Description

OKX is seeking a Controls and Process Operations Manager to bolster its first line of defense. This role involves collaborating with internal departments and centralized teams to enhance risk management, improve processes, and ensure robust control performance. The position is crucial for meeting regulatory requirements and enhancing organizational maturity to sustain business growth and integrity.

The Controls and Process Operations Manager will act as a central point of contact for first-line defense risk management, coordinating between departments and teams. They will identify and implement process improvements, provide hands-on support for internal controls, and lead control optimization initiatives. The role also involves facilitating risk and control performance reporting, enhancing cross-functional coordination, and ensuring governance processes are adhered to in new offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a central point of contact for all first-line defense risk management and control activities.
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Provide hands-on support to local departments in documenting, executing, and refining internal controls.
  • Lead control optimization initiatives by continuously evaluating control activities.
  • Facilitate regular risk and control performance reporting to senior management and the board.
  • Enhance cross-functional coordination with second and third lines of defense.
  • Facilitate the coordination between product, risk, and legal to ensure that governance processes are adhered to in the development of new offerings.
  • Automation and data analytics to improve risk identification, monitoring, and reporting, leveraging automation where appropriate.
  • Develop and implement policy and procedures.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in operations, process management, or governance in a regulated environment.
  • Proven track record of working in scalable, high-growth organizations.
  • Strong ability to manage complex processes and ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, risk management processes, and compliance procedures.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with multiple internal teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
