Platform/DevOps Intern

Job Description

Xapo Bank is seeking a Platform/DevOps Intern to join their fully distributed team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the tech and platform development sector. The intern will work directly with the platform team, assisting with real-world technical projects and platform management tasks.

The role is primarily remote, but selected candidates will be expected to work from the Gibraltar office on certain occasions to support collaboration and mentorship.

Responsibilities:

• Support platform operations and help resolve technical issues.
• Assist in monitoring platform performance and generating reports.
• Work alongside engineers to improve the user experience and help with platform optimizations.
• Contribute to cross-department projects and collaborate with different teams to support platform goals.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Some exposure to IT and change management projects.
• A basic understanding of Data Management principles.
• Familiarity with Cloud and its services.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A logical and structured approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Any exposure to Agile (Scrum) methodologies is a plus.
• A dedicated workspace and a reliable internet connection.
