Job Description

Adyen is seeking a data-driven and collaborative Digital Marketing Manager to join their Berlin office. This role reports to the Head of Marketing DACH and focuses on driving impact for Adyen’s acquisition efforts through digital marketing channels. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, setting up, and optimizing targeted digital marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B digital marketing, strong communication skills, and fluency in working with revenue-based goals. They should also possess a hands-on mentality and the ability to develop, implement, track, and optimize new marketing initiatives. This is a matrixed role that involves collaborating across local and global marketing teams to optimize Adyen’s impact through digital channels.

What this role involves:

  • Developing and implementing digital initiatives for all paid channels to maximize lead generation in the DACH market and actively supporting the CEE region.
  • Working closely with local commercial teams and the global acquisition team to generate sales accepted opportunities from digital channels.
  • Leveraging analytic tools to determine the effectiveness of campaigns and promotions across all channels, optimizing on a daily basis.
  • Handling local media buying through direct deals and/or agencies.
  • Managing digital agency relationships, including campaign briefings, media plans, day-to-day communication, campaign optimization, budget allocation, and evaluations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing and customer acquisition.
  • B2B tech experience is a plus.
  • Strong background in SEA (e.g., Google, Bing) and other paid acquisition channels (e.g., Social).
  • Knowledge in SEO and programmatic advertising (e.g., DV360) is a plus.
  • A results-driven marketing professional with a proven ability to strategically create, execute, and optimize successful campaigns for specific audiences, consistently improving marketing ROI.
  • High language proficiency in both German and English.
  • Tool knowledge (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo, Looker) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel internationally 20%+.
