Job Description

vCom Solutions is seeking a Mobile and IoT Sales Director to lead a team of Technology Solutions Executives. The Sales Director will guide and inspire the team to deliver mobile and IoT solutions to customers. This is a player-coach leadership role where the individual will own sales strategy, team development, and execution across a growing portfolio.

The role involves:

  • Leading, coaching, and inspiring a team of sales executives.
  • Recruiting, developing, and retaining high-performing team members.
  • Overseeing team forecasting, funnel management, and performance tracking.
  • Setting clear goals and implementing activity-based metrics.
  • Attending customer sales appointments and providing executive-level support.
  • Evaluating and refining sales processes.
  • Building relationships with prospective and existing customers.
  • Traveling up to twice per month for client meetings and team engagement.

The requirements are:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales of mobile and IoT solutions.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to sell consultatively to C-level stakeholders and technical buyers.
  • Deep understanding of mobile carriers, IoT, M2M, Fleet, Failover, and emerging technologies.
  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.
