Job Description
Palmetto, recognized for its rapid growth, seeks a Channel Account Manager, HVAC/Heat Pump and Home Electrification. This role is pivotal in scaling Palmetto’s LightReach lease program by onboarding and training home service contractors. The Channel Account Manager will focus on building relationships, recruiting new partners, and enabling sales teams to effectively position and close LightReach leases. This position is remote within the US and requires frequent travel to partner locations.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new partners.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned contractor partners.
- Leading on-site and virtual trainings for sales reps.
- Collaborating with Sales and General Managers to drive alignment and adoption.
- Supporting sales teams through ride-alongs and in-home pitch coaching.
- Monitoring lease activity and engagement metrics.
- Partnering with internal teams to refine tools and support processes.
- Gathering field-level feedback to inform platform improvements.
- Ensuring a high level of professionalism and partner satisfaction.
Requirements include:
- 3–5 years of experience in residential in-home sales (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, generators, roofing, or similar).
- 2–4 years in a partner-facing or field enablement role.
- Demonstrated ability to train and coach salespeople.
- Experience working with contractor businesses in the home services industry.
- Strong presentation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% regionally/nationally.
- HVAC Experience is required
