Job Description
Archer, an aerospace company, is seeking an Engineering Technician - Composites to support the assembly, integration, and testing of electromechanical systems for their eVTOL aircraft. The technician will play a crucial role in ensuring product quality, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Role involves:
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, modification documents, and test procedures.
  • Laying up composite materials according to engineering drawings and strict process specifications.
  • Performing bagging, vacuum infusion, bonding, cure cycles, demolding, trimming, and finishing procedures.
  • Inspecting composite parts for defects and conducting repairs or refinishing as necessary.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and records of material usage, process steps, and inspection results.
  • Communicating regularly with manufacturing engineers and design teams.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the aerospace and/or automotive industry as an engineering technician.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical and structural assembly techniques.
  • Knowledge of aircraft safety procedures, tool control, and industry regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering instructions, and FAA guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and handle hazardous materials.
