Job Description
Anthropic is seeking a Product Designer to focus on Design Systems. The Product Designer will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to shape experiences for Claude, transforming it into a trusted AI collaborator. Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems, ensuring they are safe and beneficial for users and society.
Role Involves:
- Designing and maintaining foundational UI components and patterns.
- Creating and evolving AI Primitives.
- Partnering with engineers to ensure designs are reflected in code.
- Contributing to design guidelines and documentation.
- Collaborating with product teams to understand their needs.
- Rapidly prototyping ideas using code and other methods.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of product design experience, with some period building or maintaining a design system.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centric design thinking and UI craftsmanship.
- Proven track record of creating and maintaining design systems.
- Experience partnering with engineering teams.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Passion for enabling teams and unblocking projects.
- Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
