Job Description
Xometry is seeking a Principal Product Manager for Manufacturability Intelligence to lead the development of its AI-powered manufacturability analysis capabilities. This role is crucial for automating and optimizing Design for Manufacturability (DFM) processes, enabling customers to receive real-time feedback on part designs and reducing production risks. The ideal candidate will drive the strategy, development, and execution of features that analyze 3D models, detect potential manufacturing issues, and provide actionable feedback to customers.
Role involves:
- Defining and communicating a compelling vision for the Manufacturability Intelligence platform.
- Developing a strategic roadmap to advance manufacturability analysis capabilities.
- Leading the development of a manufacturability service providing real-time feedback on design feasibility.
- Collaborating with data science and engineering teams to build machine learning models.
- Overseeing the integration of Visual Language Models (VLMs) and 3D Language Models (3DLMs).
- Partnering with UX/UI teams to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Gathering insights on pain points related to design manufacturability and feedback accuracy.
- Performing market research and competitive analysis.
- Leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative manufacturability solutions.
- Advocating for the adoption of new manufacturability features.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML-powered products or manufacturability analysis tools.
- Proven track record of leading the development and launch of successful B2C, B2B or enterprise SaaS products.
- Deep understanding of machine learning, data analytics, and computer vision.
- Experience working with data scientists, ML engineers, and software development teams.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and DFM principles.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Must be a US Citizen or GC holder.
