Security Operations Engineer, Zscaler SASE Specialist

Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a Zscaler SASE Specialist and Security Operations Engineer to work in an agile environment. The successful candidate will use their networking expertise to design, deploy, and troubleshoot Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions. They will also manage security tools, automate processes, and ensure operational excellence.

The role involves:

• Designing, deploying, and troubleshooting ZIA/ZPA solutions
• Serving as the primary point of contact for Zscaler-related support tickets
• Administering Zscaler configurations
• Managing and prioritizing the security ticket queue
• Integrating and automating security tools
• Supporting incident management, change control, and risk management processes

The requirements are:

• 10+ years of IT experience and 5+ years working with Security solutions
• Comprehensive knowledge of security controls, LAN/WAN networking, and cloud implementations
• Proficiency in networking protocols and troubleshooting tools
• Strong understanding of security technologies
• Experience with operating systems (macOS, Windows, Linux)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl)
