Job Description
PENN Entertainment is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join their team in Toronto. This role involves independently assessing and evaluating risks, internal controls, processes, and management practices related to information technology. The Senior IT Auditor will report to the IT Audit Senior Manager and will have exposure to multiple lines of business within theScore.
Responsibilities:
- Executing audits related to IT infrastructure, processes, applications, operations, security, and emerging technologies.
- Supporting audit requests from regulators, external auditors, and business partners.
- Liaising with external auditors regarding IT process documentation, testing procedures, audit requests, and audit findings.
- Assessing and reporting on control design and effectiveness.
- Identifying gaps and proposing remediation steps.
- Performing follow-up on audit recommendations.
- Assisting in developing a risk-based annual audit plan.
- Providing advisory services on IT risk assessment, controls, and governance.
- Participating in special investigations related to IT and system configurations.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Information Technology or Accounting.
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification.
- 2-4 years of experience in IT Internal Audit or consulting.
- Strong technical knowledge of IT platforms, operating systems, network services, security, and business applications.
- Experience with data analytics.
- Knowledge of Audit assurance, governance and control frameworks such as COBIT, NIST and ISO, Service Organization Controls (SOC) Reporting standards
- Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
