Senior Revenue Accountant

Job Description

LivePerson is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join their Revenue Accounting Team. This role reports to the Director of Revenue and is part of the Chief Accounting Officer organization. The Senior Revenue Accountant will be at the forefront of revolutionizing accounting practices, prioritizing automation and agility in revenue reporting. The role involves collaborating with data analysts, refining processes, and leveraging automation to streamline operations and deliver actionable insights.

• Supporting the execution and completion of global monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close processes for revenue.
• Reviewing revenue contracts, modifications, and terminations.
• Identifying, analyzing, and applying technical guidance related to software and SaaS revenue recognition.
• Developing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404.
• Liaising with external auditors relating to the closure of revenue accounting matters and annual audits and quarterly reviews.
• Evaluating processes, and driving system implementation and enhancements.

• Degree in accounting.
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, Big 4 or other public accounting experience required.
• Experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition or IND as 115 revenue from contracts with customers.
• SaaS experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Data collection and modeling experience.
