Job Description
The Hospitality Associate role at The Maverick by Kasa involves being the heart of the onsite guest experience. This role combines physical presence with digital prowess. The Hospitality Associate reports to the Property General Manager and works closely with both the Guest Experience and the Property Operations team.
Role Involves:
- Partnering with the regional Guest Experience team to deliver top-tier guest service via SMS, WhatsApp, and email.
- Handling escalations and housekeeping requests.
- Identifying upsell and revenue opportunities.
- Maintaining the lobby and hotel vibe.
- Identifying partnership opportunities in the local community.
- Welcoming and assisting guests with check-in and addressing their needs.
- Providing personalized local recommendations.
- Maintaining common areas and performing quality checks.
- Preparing for guest arrivals and organizing guest engagement events.
- Addressing guest requests and troubleshooting issues.
- Maintaining communication with the remote Guest Experience team.
- Handling emergency situations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality or customer service.
- At least 1 year of experience in guest service roles.
- Strong affinity for technology.
- Availability for varied shifts, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Comfortable with lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Skilled in maintaining composure under pressure.
