Alarm.com is looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join their international team in northern Europe. The successful candidate will be based in either the UK or The Netherlands and will act as the market expert in the region. The TAM will support pre-sales engineering, in-country launch planning, and ongoing key account management and development.He/She will have two main areas of focus:
Driving the Technical Onboarding process
Managing a subset of Alarm.com’s key international partners
Responsibilities:
Managing technical sales relationships with select partners
Acting as the escalation point for technical issues
Providing product support and training to partners
Championing development requirements by gathering feedback
Representing Alarm.com at trade shows and events
Demonstrating understanding of Alarm.com product features
Supporting the Sales Team during pre-sales
Creating training materials
Conducting local and remote tests for new features
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, IT, Math, or sciences preferred
Fluency in English is essential, plus one other European language is preferred
Strong communication skills
Self-starter who can operate independently
Knowledge of consumer, cloud, and IoT technology
Strong people skills and customer service orientation
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Flexible and positive attitude
Availability to travel up to 50%
Experience with electronic security, access control, home automation, or video over IP is a plus
