Job Description

Alarm.com is seeking a Quality Engineer to enhance the quality and performance of its Small & Medium Business (SMB) solutions. The Quality Engineer will validate hardware, backend services, and software components, collaborating with cross-functional product teams to maintain high industry quality standards. This role spans the entire product lifecycle, from initial development to launch and ongoing support.Role involves:

• Owning the end-to-end testing process.
• Partnering with product and engineering teams.
• Designing and executing test plans.
• Logging and tracking defects.
• Supporting weekly software and hardware releases.
• Setting up and maintaining test environments.
• Investigating, triaging, and escalating issues.
• Proposing and driving corrective actions.
• Leveraging engineering knowledge to certify products.
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
