Job Description
Appspace is seeking a Financial Analyst to transform financial data into actionable insights. This role involves collaborating across teams to support decision-making through precise forecasting, month-end close assistance, spend monitoring, and budget alignment. The Financial Analyst will partner with various teams, especially GTM, maintain rolling forecasts, analyze variances, and develop financial models.
Role involves:
- Collaborating with business partners to translate business decisions into accurate forecast and budget updates.
- Assisting with the monthly financial close process, ensuring alignment between business performance and financial records.
- Analyzing event and Travel & Entertainment (T&E) spending, ensuring adherence to budget.
- Analyzing monthly financial results, identifying and articulating key variances for leadership review.
- Coordinating and fulfilling data requests from internal business partners.
- Assisting with key Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) modeling projects.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a financial analysis role.
- Base-level understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data manipulation.
- Experience in building and maintaining financial models.
- Required experience with NetSuite.
- Experience with Adaptive Insights is preferred.
- Highly collaborative with a strong customer-focused mindset.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
