Zenni Optical, committed to affordable eyewear since 2003, seeks a motivated Surface Operator (Machine Operator) for their Obetz, Ohio facility. The Surface Operator will work in a brand new, climate-controlled facility with free daily meals and snacks. Role Involves:
- Calibration of machines
- Light maintenance and maintaining of equipment
- Troubleshooting root cause issues
- Ensuring proper order flow throughout department
- Maintaining good housekeeping, 6S
- Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
- Reporting to management on activities and issues
- Inter-department running
Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move for duration of shift
- Strong organizational skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proactive with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to follow instructions and production schedules
