Job Description

Oakbrook India is seeking an Associate, Underwriting to support its loan underwriting operations. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the development of GenAI-enabled tech businesses. The Associate will be responsible for reviewing applications, verifying documents, and ensuring data accuracy. They will also analyze financial statements and credit reports to assess applicant risk profiles, supporting the underwriting team with data preparation and analysis.

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing applications and verifying documents.
• Analyzing financial statements and credit reports.
• Preparing and presenting customer data.
• Supporting the underwriting team in decision-making.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 1-3 years of experience in fintech/Mortgage/Lending operations for UK/US clients.
• Operational experience with banking/lending customer lifecycle phases.
• Knowledge of lending processes and systems.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Graduate/Under-graduate from recognized university.
