Data Engineer

Job Description

Caylent is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Cloud Data Engineering team. The Data Engineer will collaborate with Architects, Engineering Managers, and Engineers to deliver AWS solutions. They will work with the latest technologies and support customers looking to bring cutting-edge ideas to market.

• Collaborate with Architects and Engineering Managers to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Understand client requirements to build solutions defined in project backlogs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Write production-ready, well-tested, and documented code across cloud environments.
• Contribute to building infrastructure, data pipelines, or application components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• Experience with ETL, CI/CD pipelines, SQL, analytics, and data governance.
• Experience with AWS services like RDS, Aurora, Glue, Lambda, and SDKs.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and relational databases like Redshift, Snowflake, Postgres, MySQL.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform.
