Job Description
Caylent is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Cloud Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing data pipelines and a passion for collaborating with customers, partners, and colleagues to drive innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Architects and Engineering Managers to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
- Understand client requirements to build solutions defined in project backlogs.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Write production-ready, well-tested, and documented code across cloud environments.
- Contribute to building infrastructure, data pipelines, or application components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Demonstrate Caylent’s values.
Requirements:
- Experience with ETL, CI/CD pipelines, SQL, analytics, and data governance.
- Experience with AWS services like RDS, Aurora, Glue, Lambda, and SDKs.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and relational databases like Redshift, Snowflake, Postgres, MySQL.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform.
