Principal Data Architect

Job Description

Caylent is seeking a Principal Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of complex cloud-based data solutions. The Principal Data Architect will work within the Cloud Data Engineering Practice, defining strategic roadmaps and acting as a data engineering SME. This role involves technical interviews, overseeing data standards, and providing technical guidance.Responsibilities include:

• Defining strategic roadmaps for clients
• Acting as a data engineering SME
• Performing technical interviews
• Overseeing data standards

Requirements include:

• At least 4 years of experience in AWS data landscape
• 10 years of experience designing and building complex data systems
• Experience with relational database design, data modeling, BI dashboards, Data Governance and MDM, Big data processing, Machine Learning and MLOps, and DataOps practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, CI/CD pipelines, and Python for analytics
• Strong drive towards standardizing and documenting solutions
• Excellent communication skills
