IONOS, a leading European cloud infrastructure provider, is seeking a Support Engineer to join their team in Berlin. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a customer-centric approach to assist customers with their public cloud infrastructure.
This role involves:
- Supporting a modern, high-performance public cloud.
- Assisting customers with questions about cloud usage.
- Helping customers set up and operate their virtual infrastructure.
- Managing incidents and service requests independently.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of services and processes.
The requirements for this role include:
- Fluent German and good English skills.
- Extensive experience with Linux and Microsoft operating systems.
- Proficiency in command-line tools (Bash, PowerShell).
- Strong service management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Apache, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalling, FTP, SSH, and VPN administration.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructures, networking, and virtualization.
- Process-oriented and a team player.
- Willingness to work shifts and be on-call.
