IONOS, a leading European cloud infrastructure provider, is seeking a Support Engineer to join their team in Berlin. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, technical expertise, and a customer-centric approach to assist customers with their public cloud infrastructure.

This role involves:

  • Supporting a modern, high-performance public cloud.
  • Assisting customers with questions about cloud usage.
  • Helping customers set up and operate their virtual infrastructure.
  • Managing incidents and service requests independently.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of services and processes.

The requirements for this role include:

  • Fluent German and good English skills.
  • Extensive experience with Linux and Microsoft operating systems.
  • Proficiency in command-line tools (Bash, PowerShell).
  • Strong service management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Apache, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalling, FTP, SSH, and VPN administration.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructures, networking, and virtualization.
  • Process-oriented and a team player.
  • Willingness to work shifts and be on-call.
