Job Description
Ocado Group is seeking a MRP Supply Planner for a secondment opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing supply plans to ensure material and finished goods are available to fulfill the demand plan on time and in full, while minimizing supply chain costs. This role sits within the Engineering Supply Chain Operations team.Responsibilities:
  • Delivering against agreed customer service and inventory levels.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Managing weekly communications with suppliers.
  • Leading regular supplier review meetings.
  • Managing key supply planning processes such as running and executing the MRP supply plan.
  • Reviewing and resolving MRP supply exceptions.
  • Evaluating the impact of all supply risks and communicating to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Establishing and monitoring KPIs and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Preparing various supply planning reporting and analyses.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of supply chain experience, ideally within a supply planning role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of supply planning and inventory management processes.
  • Knowledge of S&OP / operational processes and experience with ERP and MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of handling large data sets, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • IT literate - Google Software Suite, MS Office applications and excellent organisation skills.
  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or similar (preferred).
  • APICS CSCP or CPIM or similar qualification (preferred).
  • Manufacturing experience is beneficial, but not essential (preferred).
  • Experience of working in Engineering environment (preferred).
  • Experience of Oracle software (preferred).
