Job Description
Localyze is seeking an Accountant to join their Finance team and contribute to building a borderless world. The Accountant will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for ensuring seamless and efficient financial operations. Localyze values innovation and is looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas to the team.
Role involves:
- Issuing invoices and credit notes.
- Reconciling incoming payments.
- Managing invoice processing.
- Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Assisting with month-end closing activities.
- Performing ad-hoc financial tasks.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role at a startup.
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree.
- Experience in assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and statutory reporting.
- Inter-company experience to manage different entities.
- Previous billing experience and knowledge of VAT regulations.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
