Production Associate

Job Description

Clutch, a company reinventing the Canadian car buying experience, is seeking a Production Associate to join their Arrivals Inspector department in Etobicoke, Ontario. The Production Associate will be responsible for inspecting and processing incoming vehicles, ensuring they meet Clutch's quality standards. This involves checking for damage, cleanliness, and mechanical issues, as well as documenting the vehicle's condition and reporting any problems.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow processes, and comfort working outdoors. The ideal candidate will have basic automotive knowledge and a valid driver's license.

What This Role Involves:

• Inspecting incoming vehicles for damage, cleanliness, and mechanical issues.
• Identifying problems and reporting anything that falls outside standards.
• Moving, starting, and parking vehicles on the lot as needed.
• Logging inspection results using checklists and software.
• Communicating with the reconditioning, detailing, and mechanical teams.
• Helping prioritize vehicle flow through service and delivery stages.
• Troubleshooting minor vehicle issues when needed.
• Keeping work area clean and following safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to follow processes and take direction.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Basic automotive knowledge or interest in learning.
• Valid G2 (or higher) driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Able to drive automatic; manual is a plus.
• Comfortable using a tablet or basic computer tools.
• Reliable and willing to support your team where needed.
