Associate Director, Content Strategy

Huge is seeking an Associate Director of Content Strategy to lead complex, multidisciplinary initiatives. The ideal candidate will define content vision, architect systems and governance models, and lead teams through implementation. This role focuses on aligning content systems with audience expectations and business objectives, not editorial or copy management. What this role involves:

• Leading the definition and execution of content strategies across digital ecosystems.
• Architecting scalable content systems.
• Partnering with UX, tech, and design leads.
• Conducting content audits and analyses.
• Defining and evolving enterprise-level content governance models.
• Facilitating workshops and interviews with stakeholders.
• Supporting content migration planning.
• Advising clients on emerging content capabilities, including AI.
• Defining and overseeing conversation models for conversational interfaces.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.
• Contributing to the growth of Huge’s content strategy discipline.

Requirements:

• 8+ years leading content strategy, digital strategy, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in content architecture, metadata strategy, IA, and CMS/content delivery platforms.
• Experience designing and operationalizing large-scale content systems.
• Experience with AI-driven content applications.
• Fluency in the nuances of deterministic vs. generative AI.
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise redesigns, e-commerce, or omnichannel experiences.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Clear, confident client communication and storytelling skills.
• Collaborative leadership style.
