Job Description
Peregrine Technologies, backed by Silicon Valley investors, seeks an IT Support Analyst to support public safety agencies. The role involves providing technical assistance to approximately 200 employees across the U.S. in a mixed Windows and Mac environment. The IT Support Analyst will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolutions through troubleshooting and clear communication.

Role Involves:
  • Responding to service requests via Slack, Zoom, and Office 365.
  • Supporting macOS and Windows laptops, including provisioning and troubleshooting.
  • Assisting with identity and access management (IAM) tasks in JumpCloud.
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including VPN and security software.
  • Supporting device provisioning and management using platforms like JumpCloud, Jamf, and Intune.
  • Maintaining asset inventory and tracking device assignments.
  • Participating in onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Documenting solutions and contributing to the IT knowledge base.

Requirements:
  • 4–6 years of experience providing IT support in a SaaS and cloud-first business environment.
  • Hands-on experience supporting macOS and Windows 10/11 systems.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Intune, or JumpCloud).
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Slack and Notion administration.
  • Prior use of ticketing systems (e.g., Notion, Zendesk).
  • Basic understanding of endpoint security, encryption, and MFA policies.
  • Comfort using remote tools to support remote users.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service mindset.
  • Ability to work onsite up to 4 days per week at the San Francisco headquarters.
  • Ability to pass a national criminal background investigation.
