Senior Designer

Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Senior Designer to join their growing team in London. The Senior Designer will lead design work, focusing on web experiences and the evolution of the client's digital ecosystem. The role requires smart, thoughtful digital design that elevates the brand across global touchpoints. The Senior Designer will collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects requiring strategic thinking, brand consistency, and digital craft.

Role Involves:

• Leading the design of digital experiences, primarily web-focused.
• Translating brand principles into modern, cohesive design systems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including UX, strategy, and development.
• Contributing to and upholding design standards that scale across global markets.
• Managing own workstream and client communications.
• Developing concepts and communicating ideas.
• Directing and delegating to core creative services disciplines.
• Contributing to the innovative development of the creative department.
• Participating in strategic brainstorming, concept development, creative brief development, and creative execution.

Requirements:

• 3 or more years of experience and a strong digital design portfolio.
• Proven experience in digital/web design with strong design system knowledge.
• Expertise in Figma and a sharp design eye with high attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of UX principles.
• Experience in motion design or After Effects is a strong plus.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and managing projects end-to-end.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to operate autonomously.
• Eagerness to collaborate with other creative people.
