Job Description
Butternut is seeking a Quality Assurance Process Lead for Rudie's Kitchen and Ace’s Pantry. This role ensures the company's quality systems and processes are operated effectively, maintaining product quality from raw materials to dispatch. The role offers the freedom of a senior position without line management responsibilities. The candidate will report to the Technical Team Leader.
Role Involves:
- Ensuring a pro-active approach to process and system control/management through educating to the broader team
- Conducting product testing on incoming raw materials and finished goods
- Monitoring and trending product quality, identifying improvements and working with other functions
- Ensuring daily / weekly / monthly QA scheduled tasks are completed on time
- Conducting investigations into non-conformance and agree corrective actions
- Attending process trials
- Ensuring new products processes and equipment are smoothly integrated into everyday operation
Requirements:
- Previous QA experience from food is essential
- Pragmatic, adaptable, resilient and humble
- A proven track record of QA, systems management or HACCP in food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of production and packing processes
- Working knowledge of process capability and target setting
- Hungry for a challenge and keen to build something from the ground up
- Someone who loves the pace and excitement of FMCG manufacturing
- Loves dogs
