Job Description
DNA Script, a leading company in nucleic acid production, is seeking a Scientific Liaison to amplify its voice in the industry and drive thought leadership. This role involves engaging key opinion leaders and shaping the understanding and adoption of the company's enzymatic DNA synthesis (EDS) technology. The Scientific Liaison will play a crucial role in transforming synthetic biology by making DNA production faster, cleaner, and more scalable.
What This Role Involves:
- Leading scientific storytelling through high-impact content and messaging.
- Driving influence by building relationships with key opinion leaders and speaking at industry events.
- Supporting executive communications by crafting strategic narratives for leadership.
- Connecting the dots across teams to translate science into market-shaping stories.
- Tracking trends in biotechnology, genomics, and innovation to inform strategy.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Synthetic Biology, molecular biology or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in translational sciences, mRNA sciences, Cell and Gene Therapies, market development, or strategy role within biotech, life sciences, or healthcare.
- Strong science writing and public speaking skills in English.
- Proven ability to engage thought leaders and influence industry dialogue.
- Strategic thinker with strong collaboration skills and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Familiarity with market trends in new therapeutic modalities, personalized therapies, synthetic biology, and biotechnology.
