Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Armis is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to ensure seamless deployment and efficient management of critical systems. The role involves working with a complex system architecture, including diverse data stores and a vast microservices environment. The Senior DevOps Engineer will collaborate with developers, CISO, architects, operations, and product teams to deliver high-impact solutions.Role involves:

• Designing, building, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and resilient production systems.
• Collaborating with DevOps and Engineering teams to define architectural and operational aspects.
• Identifying and resolving issues in production systems.
• Overseeing and enforcing security best practices.
• Researching and evaluating new technologies.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Offering on-call support during off-hours.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing and maintaining Linux servers in a cloud environment.
• 3+ years of knowledge in AWS.
• 5+ years in Python, Kubernetes.
• 3+ years experience with IAC Tools (Terraform and/or Cloud formation).
• Deep understanding of networking concepts.
• Ability to own the entire SDLC for projects.
• Extensive experience working with microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience managing, maintaining, and migrating to a Zero trust architecture.
• Experience developing, automating and maintaining vulnerability & patch management solutions.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage tasks and time.
