Job Description

Project A is seeking a Head of People to join one of its portfolio companies, a German dual-use technology company specializing in unmanned ground vehicles. This role is based in the Munich office. The Head of People will be responsible for driving talent management, employee engagement, professional development, and internal communications, fostering a positive and cohesive workplace culture.

The role involves:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for talent acquisition, people development & operations, retention, and succession planning
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture that aligns with company values and improves employee engagement
  • Creating and communicating HR policies that support business goals and comply with legal standards
  • Working closely with senior leadership to align people and culture strategies with overall business plans
  • Leading the People team to improve transparency, communication, and community within the company
  • Overseeing daily People Operations, development programs, and HR tools
  • Leveraging data to improve hiring, workforce planning, and employee experience through informed decision-making

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in talent acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful People strategies that align with business objectives
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation, diversity and inclusion practices, and industry standards
  • Proven track record in managing talent development programs, employee engagement initiatives, and internal communications
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels
  • Experience in change management and the ability to lead an organisation through growth or transformation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Fluency in English and German is required
  • Eligibility to work within the EU
