Job Description
Jumia is seeking a Transport Manager in Ghana to work with the Country Supply Chain Leadership team. The Transport Manager will be responsible for project management, client and vendor management, and financial management related to transportation management across all business segments.
Role involves:
- Hub Transport Management
- Managing co-loader contracts and negotiating with fleet contractors
- Dispute solving and MIS maintenance
- Planning initiatives for cost reduction
- Performance management for TAT adherence
- Financial Reconciliation
- Return Shipment Management
- Managing network operational issues
- Financial Reconciliation for lost compliance
- Managing customer escalation cases
- Driving new process initiatives
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain
- Clear understanding of Transportation Logistics network management
- Experience in supply chain management and transportation concepts
- Experience in strategy and complex network management
- Performance oriented and Hardworking
- Pro-active, both autonomous and team player, Flexible
- High analytical skills
