Job Description
Yext is seeking a UX/UI Designer to join their Creative team in London. The candidate will play a critical role in shaping user experiences across the Yext platform, from wireframes to final designs. They will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to transform complex workflows and data-rich applications into intuitive, engaging experiences.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative designer with solid experience across UX and UI, a keen attention to detail, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement. They should have a strong understanding of responsive design and interaction patterns, with some experience designing around data variability and scalable systems.
What this role involves:
- Contributing to thoughtful, high-quality design solutions that align with Yext’s design system, accessibility standards, and client brand guidelines
- Translating requirements into responsive wireframes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity prototypes
- Collaborating with cross-functional internal teams
- Learning and applying best practices in UX/UI design and web accessibility
- Participating in regular design critiques
- Reviewing staging environments to ensure accuracy of visual implementation
- Supporting the evolution and consistent application of our design system
- Staying curious and bring relevant insights or techniques from your past work
- Prioritizing tasks effectively and communicate progress, blockers, and questions clearly
- Actively seeking feedback and opportunities for growth
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of professional experience as a UX/UI designer
- A BA/BS degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency in Figma
- A strong understanding of responsive design and interaction patterns
- Exposure to brand design principles
- Familiarity with day-to-day tools like Slack, Google Workspace
- A polished online portfolio
- A growth mindset
