Job Description
Google DeepMind is seeking a Research Engineer to join their Chip Verification team. This role involves advancing AI for Chip Design, pioneering next-generation products, and collaborating with various teams across major Product Areas. The Research Engineer will contribute to solving complex tasks in automating chip design, including hardware-software co-design for ML models, hardware generation and verification, RTL optimization, and system design. They will also engage in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to bring clarity in ambiguous problem spaces.
Responsibilities include: - Contributing to and driving ML for hardware-software co-design.
- Contributing to and driving hardware generation technologies using ML techniques.
- Identifying impactful research problems in chip design.
- Collaborating with model developers, software developers, and hardware architects.
- Generalizing solutions in open-source code, publications, and education.
Requirements: - Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field, or B.S./M.S. with 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in code-generation technologies.
- Experience in Machine Learning (ML).
