Job Description

PlayStation is seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to lead brand and live service marketing for multiple game franchises. This role involves crafting global go-to-market marketing strategies in partnership with development studios for AAA game titles. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the financial success of a portfolio of games.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the global marketing strategy and annual marketing plans.
  • Manage budgets for marketing strategies and advertising efforts.
  • Lead and develop the team.
  • Partner with studio leadership to achieve business goals.
  • Develop marketing strategy, including direct to consumer, always-on, content strategy for Games as a Service.
  • Create and drive approval of promotional and growth plans.
  • Define global brand and product strategy.
  • Distill consumer feedback into actionable insights.
  • Ensure consistent brand representation.
  • Manage internal and external creative teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in business plan leadership.
  • Track record of strong partnerships with game development studios.
  • Success in developing global consumer strategies and marketing campaigns.
  • Broad understanding of marketing disciplines.
  • Experience with digital product offerings on mobile and PC platforms (a plus).
  • Ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong passion for games.
  • Proficiency in Japanese and English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • 8+ years of video game product marketing experience.
  • Marketing degree (Master’s preferred).
