Job Description
GumGum is seeking a Senior Publisher Success Manager to manage premium publisher partnerships. This role is crucial for retaining top accounts and maximizing their revenue potential. The Senior Publisher Success Manager will independently manage relationships with key publisher partners and contribute to the company's publisher development strategy. GumGum offers a flexible work environment, allowing employees to work remotely or in the office, but requires the position to be within a commutable distance to the office for occasional in-person collaboration.
What this role involves:
- Independently owns Tier 1 and Tier 2 publisher partnerships.
- Conducts in-person QBRs at top publisher partner’s offices.
- Discusses and analyzes industry trends with publisher partners.
- Serves as an expert on GumGum’s products, publisher tools and platforms.
- Identifies and provides solutions to bottlenecks in account management duties and processes.
- Manages internal facing projects in support of the team.
- Escalates inbound technical issues to Solutions Engineers as needed.
- Monitors daily reporting to identify trends or uncover possible issues.
- Proactively identifies partner growth opportunities and presents them externally.
- Fully supports publisher onboarding implementations.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Business (Advertising/Marketing) or similar experience.
- 4 to 6 years experience in digital media/ad tech.
- Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
- Experience in an account management role within ad tech.
- Experience with JIRA, Zendesk, Google Sheets, and ticketing system.
- Ability to analyze data to spot trends.
- Familiarity with the media industry, digital advertising, the lumascape and ad tech.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Clear communicator with experience in a customer facing role.
