Anthropic is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Web Platform team. This role is crucial for supporting the development infrastructure for Anthropic's web-based products. The Software Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining systems that enable engineering teams to deliver high-quality web experiences.Role involves:

• Optimizing performance for critical web components.
• Designing and implementing solutions for customizable user interfaces.
• Developing and improving frontend alerting and monitoring systems.
• Building self-serve capabilities for feature teams.
• Supporting developer productivity initiatives.
• Contributing to upgrading and maintaining core web technologies.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on web technologies.
• Deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React and NextJS.
• Experience optimizing web application performance.
• Familiarity with frontend monitoring and alerting systems.
• Experience supporting developer productivity and tooling.
• Excellent collaboration skills.
• Track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
