Finance & Strategy Lead, EMEA

Job Description

Anthropic is seeking an EMEA Finance & Strategy Lead to join their Finance team. This role will shape the company's strategy and operations in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will be a key partner to go-to-market teams, providing financial expertise and guidance to support strategic decision-making. They will establish and scale financial operations in EMEA while providing comprehensive financial insights to drive business growth and informed decision-making.Role involves:

• Building financial models
• Leading deal structuring
• Developing strategic frameworks
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize revenue performance
• Establishing scalable financial processes, including deal desk workflows
• Delivering critical insights to executives and stakeholders

Requirements:

• 12+ years of experience across strategic finance, go-to-market finance, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, consulting, and investment banking
• International finance experience with complex cross-border operations
• Exceptional analytical skills with an ability to synthesize data into compelling insights and develop/maintain complex business models
• Extraordinary problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex financial challenges
• Comfort working cross-functionally and are adept at communicating complex financial information to non-finance audiences
• Excitement about working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and adapt well to change
• A bias towards action, strong work ethic, and have experience driving operational outcomes under tight timelines
• Strong relationship building, business judgment, process management, and communication skills
• Passion towards Anthropic's mission to build safe, transformative AI systems
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
