Senior Director, FP&A Corporate and Strategic Finance

Job Description

Intercom, an AI Customer Service company, is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to lead its Corporate and Strategic Finance team. This role involves driving financial strategy and decision-making, owning financial planning processes, and providing insightful analysis to support Intercom's growth.

• Leading the Corporate and Strategic FP&A teams.
• Partnering with executive leadership to drive financial strategy.
• Owning the financial long-range planning and annual budgeting processes.
• Leading the quarterly financial income statement and cash flow forecast processes.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
• Conducting ad-hoc analyses.
• Partnering with Finance Analytics, Business Technology, and Data & Insights on systems/tools roadmaps.
• Leading and developing a high-performing team.
• Owning internal messaging on revenue and company performance.
• Communicating the Intercom financial strategy and priorities.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in finance roles, with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience in public company SaaS/software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills.
• Proven track record of building and developing high-performing distributed teams.
• Experience providing thought leadership and leading presentations to the executive team.
• Strong understanding of planning systems and related critical systems.
