Similarweb is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join their team in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel, and contribute to the advancement of their Apps solution. The successful candidate will design and implement statistical and ML algorithms within big data pipelines, ensuring data robustness and efficiency. This role requires creative problem-solving skills in areas such as time series, text analysis, estimation, and classification.Similarweb is a leading digital intelligence platform used by numerous global customers, including Google, eBay, and Adidas. The company went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2021 and continues to grow.Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement complex, innovative big data ML algorithms for new features.
• Participate in the design of data products based on knowledge of available data sources.
• Monitor and analyze data along the pipelines to ensure product quality and resolve issues.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in data science or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with statistical estimation methods, time series analysis, and machine learning models.
• Experience with Big Data technologies and distributed computing (e.g., Spark) is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
