AlphaSense is seeking an Investment Banking Sales Consultant to join their team in New York. The role focuses on driving adoption and ensuring the success of AlphaSense's product suite within investment banking firms. The Product Specialist will build relationships with prospective clients, deliver training sessions, and provide on-site support. This role requires a deep understanding of investment banking workflows and the ability to communicate effectively with sophisticated clients.
The role involves:
- Conducting warm calls to existing investment banking clients.
- Delivering engaging training sessions.
- Providing hands-on support and implementation guidance at client locations.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Understanding client needs and providing feedback to the product development team.
- Partnering with the sales team to support the sales cycle.
- Staying informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in a client-facing role servicing investment banking clients or direct experience within investment banking.
- Strong understanding of investment banking workflows and terminology.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Comfort and confidence in conducting virtual and in-person client meetings.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to client locations (up to 20%).
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
