Information Security Engineer III

SurveyMonkey is seeking an Information Security Engineer III to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial for safeguarding the company's cloud infrastructure, endpoints, network, and data. The Information Security Engineer III will report to the Sr. Information Security lead and will focus on security. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge security tools and collaborate across teams to protect a compliance-driven, cloud-first environment.Role involves:

• Driving vulnerability management efforts.
• Managing and optimizing Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
• Maintaining and enhancing Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) capabilities.
• Supporting secure access and traffic inspection using Zscaler.
• Improving data protection and operational efficiency through automation.
• Participating in an on-call rotation for Incident Response.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in information security.
• Experience with security tools such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector, CrowdStrike, and Zscaler.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation frameworks (Python, etc.).
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
